The leaders of five Scandinavian countries all took a group photo together over the weekend mocking Trump’s meme-worthy glowing orb photo.
In a tweet that’s quickly going viral, Swedish Twitter user Jussi Karlgren tweeted an image of the prime ministers of Sweden (Stefan Löfven), Denmark (Lars Løkke Rasmussen), Norway (Erna Solberg), Finland (Juha Sipilä), and Iceland (Bjarni Benediktsson) all smiling while putting their hands on a soccer ball together.
“[T]he orb of world domination loses power and is somewhat less threatening on these latitudes,” Karlgren tweeted.

The photo is an obvious dig at President Trump, who made Saudi Arabia the first destination on his nine-day international trip where at one point, he was photographed touching a glowing orb with Saudi King Salman and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
oh you know, a bunch of plutocrats in a darkened room putting their hands on a glowing orb in a totally non-illuminati kind of way pic.twitter.com/Q2Ue2FBi6l

The orb was supposed to look like a globe that lit up when the three leaders touched it, signifying that Saudi Arabia’s new Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology was officially open for business. The photo of Trump and the other two Middle Eastern leaders touching the orb quickly turned into a meme, with Twitter users making obvious Lord of the Rings comparisons:
